IRSI exact check of a 26-circle packing (sum of radii in the unit square)
Published at https://irsi.ai/reproductions.html#circlepack

check_packing.py exact checker, Python 3 standard library only. Every decimal literal is read as an
                  exact rational; containment r <= x <= 1-r, r <= y <= 1-r and non-overlap
                  (xi-xj)^2 + (yi-yj)^2 >= (ri+rj)^2 are decided at tolerance 0.
                  --selftest also runs five deliberately broken inputs, which must be rejected.
                  --binary first rounds each literal to IEEE float64, as numpy would.
                  The optional float LP report needs scipy; the verdict does not.
fetch_aemon.sh downloads Aemon's construction from aemon.ai and checks its sha256.
                  The construction is not included here because aemon.ai states no license.

Run:
  sh fetch_aemon.sh aemon.txt
  python3 check_packing.py aemon.txt --selftest

Expected: verdict VALID (0 violations), sum of radii 2.635983082278162.

The two AlphaEvolve constructions compared on the web page come from DeepMind's public notebooks:
  May 2025:  google-deepmind/alphaevolve_results, mathematical_results.ipynb (circle packing, 26 circles)
  Nov 2025:  google-deepmind/alphaevolve_repository_of_problems, packing_circles_max_sum_of_radii.ipynb
Save each as 26 lines "x y r" and run check_packing.py on it. Contact: peter@irsi.ai
